Feel free to browse the following tabs to see what services I offer and enjoy. I will be explaining some of the procedures that I commonly perform, and showing pre- and post-op pictures thereof. These obviously do not represent an extensive list of operations that I can or do perform.
Be warned that some images are of injuries and might be disturbing, but do not be alarmed, the majority of the pictures are x-ray images. All patients’ privacy is respected and maintained.
In explaining procedures, I sometimes use medical jargon. Here are explanations of a few words:
- Tenotomise: to cut a tendon
- Debridement: to remove unwanted tissue
- Intramedullary: in the central cavity of a long bone
- Venous thrombosis: clotting of blood in the vein
- Arthroscopically: to operate in a join using a camera
- Etiology: the cause of something
